Things about which I care

Points of note: stories, poems, color, ritual, light, love —
& people, people, people.
Welcome! I (they/she/etc) am a visual artist, deviser, lighting designer, teacher, and director. I believe the art we make as theatre creators, or just people living interdependently, is affecting and important. I think both the art and our teams require space-making for stories we're taking on, as well as compassion for the process itself.
My preferred projects ask questions and are felt more than known (not because I think the product is better, but because I think there is a wound in theatre [in us!] where curiosity and tension are punished). Repair & learning begin on the edges of our own understanding. Why did Shakespeare set Hamlet in Denmark, after all?
Please feel free to reach out about anything you find important.
Upcoming:
Romeo and Juliet at Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, May 2026
Betrayal at Gloucester Stage Company, July 2026
